Frequently asked questions
What is an ATS match score?
It's the percentage of the keywords a job description gates on that also appear in your resume. Recruiters and applicant tracking systems screen for these terms before a human reads your resume, so a higher match generally means more interviews.
How is the score calculated?
We extract 15–30 concrete keywords from the job description, weight them by importance (critical = 3, important = 2, nice-to-have = 1), then check which are present in your resume. Score = matched weight ÷ total weight.
Is my resume stored?
No. The text is sent to our AI to extract keywords for this request only. We don't save it to your account or use it to train models.
How do I raise my score?
Fill the missing critical keywords first — those are the disqualifying ones. Weave each into a bullet with a concrete outcome (metric, scale, or result) rather than dumping them in a skills list.
